Schooled

Here’s to my 8 year old son who has officially posted his first youtube video. He knew what he wanted, asked for some assistance and posted his first attempt. It made me so proud to see how he was able to have a thought, set the intention and execute. Here I was in the background trying to figure out how to get the best settings, audio quality etc, which would have hampered my ability to execute, but Bjorn just happily did his thing and is one step further than I would have been. The beauty in this story is that although it may not be the absolute best he could deliver, he did not let that deter him from working towards something he wanted, he was not afraid to take that first step forward and inso doing, he has already done more than most of the over thinkers out there who never ever start. As I write this he is already out there recording his second video brimming with confidence and pride from the first.
