Arms open

On my order board for my perfect day one of the things I wish for is to have my boys come in for a morning snuggle followed by an outing to the beach with our dog. While unfortunately there are still a few pieces missing to this vision, today was a beautiful reminder that we can have many perfect days, just maybe not the way we had imagined. It was so nice for them to come and get me out of bed, both excited to take Dash for his morning walk, this is something I usually do alone but today they showed up. As much as we feel that we support our children, sometimes they too can support us.
