Thunderstorm

Just while I was sitting writing up a blog post on another image, this scene came past the window. I was mesmerised at the blue hue in the clouds on the one side and the slight orange tint on the other. I grabbed my camera and put on my widest lens which is 24mm and took this shot in HDR mode. HDR Mode in short takes 3 images in succession, one underexposed, one correctly exposed and one over exposed. I layer them together in Lightroom using the best attributes from each shot and you are left with great detail in both the shadows and the highlights.
