Less is more

It’s been a while planning for this hike and I have been mulling over whether to pack my DSLR camera or just rely on the good old iPhone 12. After a few walks out with Dash I soon realised that carrying unnecessary weight on a hike is just looking for trouble. I also wanted to use this time to relax and not focusing on getting “the shot”, which worked out just great. Just because photography is my hobby doesn’t mean it needs to take over all my other plans, yes I was in a magnificent location but the intention of the hike was to experience it as it was and not behind the cover of my lens.
