Ichigo ichie

Ichigo ichie is a Japanese idiom that means "once in a lifetime" or "for this time only". It's a cultural concept that emphasises the value of appreciating each moment as a unique experience. In photography and in life you will never get the same moment twice as you can try and replicate a scene or moment but unless replicated in a lab you will never have the same set of conditions or circumstances that led to that instance. This principle can help raise awareness to what you are actually experiencing and trying to portray in your image. Staying present in the moment can help you capture more than just a subject or scenery but rather the essence of your experience within that moment.
