Look again
Ever see an imperfect tree? How about an animal? I have said that animals make the most amazing subject matter for photographs, but why is that, why not humans? Have the super models on glossy magazines led us to believe that unless we look a certain way we are not attractive or desirable? How is it that we can look at a dog’s paws and see beauty but are quick to look down and pass judgment on our own two feet. Perhaps it's because we have always been exposed to dogs in their natural state, no makeup, no dress sense, touchups and most importantly no airs and graces. Just a beautiful loving being, which besides for food and water, wants nothing more than just to give and receive love. If we could just look at ourselves in the same way dogs do, with unconditional love, there is no doubt that we will receive it. In order to be loved we first need to love ourselves.
