Bokeh

Kids seem to have this innate spirit of adventure regardless of where they are, we went for an afternoon snack at their favourite restaurant, it was late and a kids party had just ended. My boys found these balloons and proceeded to have the best time running around the garden and playing with them. I captured so many good photographs of them smiling, jumping and laughing. This image stood out for me the most, it just seemed to have the perfect balance in the composition as well as a crisp, sharp subject, nicely separated from its background. The technical term for this is bokeh.
