That Friday Feeling

Yeah I know it’s only Thursday but this guy was dancing all the way to work this morning. Boombox in hand, music playing and bouncing along the tarmac. I loved his energy and was so happy to get this shot. In hindsight it would have been nice to engage with him but I was unfortunately stuck in capture mode. My intention was to get out early and photograph strangers as they pass buy as street photography is on my list of things to try. It’s a bit daunting photographing people without asking permission and something I need to get used to. I completely overexposed the sky but I was pretty much facing the sunrise directly, I think it actually created a nice effect and captured the mood of the morning as I witnessed it. As for the sun flares this is about the hundredth time I have forgotten to take my lens hood along, will remember next time, I hope.
