Busy birds gotta eat

I took over 500 photos today, mostly of the house as I have been inspired to try my hand out at architectural photography and the technical aspects of luminosity blending. This scene presented itself in the afternoon and its was too good not to share. I captured this photo using burst mode on my camera, there was an interaction going on between Hope, our cat, and these guys. Somewhere in-between all the action this plover stopped for a snack before resuming the dive bomb attacks. They have laid their eggs in the grass and have been fiercely protecting them ever since.
